TERROR: 'Rise Of The Poisoned Youth' Video Posted Online
March 17, 2009"Rise Of The Poisoned Youth", the new live video from the Los Angeles hardcore/metal band TERROR, can be viewed below. According to frontman Scott Vogel, the clip "was shot in Curitiba, Brazil. Our friend Marcos really hooked up the whole thing. He booked a great show, in a great venue, for this sort of vibe. Kids came out and went crazy. The energy was captured perfectly. He also shot extra footage in an underground boxing club. We felt this fit in well with the lyrics and visual of the song."
TERROR is currently annihilating crowds across North America on "The Atticus Metal Tour". The trek, which kicked off on March 12, also features WINDS OF PLAGUE, EMMURE, ALL SHALL PERISH, THE GHOST INSIDE and special guests on select dates, SHAI HULUD, UNDERNEATH THE GUN and ABACABB.
Comments Vogel: "The Atticus tour is honestly perfect and a lot of our family have been coming out to the shows and really setting the tone. We are playing to so many new faces, which have been telling us they never have seen a show like ours before. Everything is smooth and cool."
TERROR recently parted ways with guitarist Doug Weber and replaced him with Jordan Posner, a former member of influential Toronto hardcore band NO WARNING.
TERROR's third full-length album, "The Damned, The Shamed", was released on June 10, 2008 (May 26 in Europe) via Century Media Records. The CD was produced by Zeuss (HATEBREED, SHADOWS FALL) and is "sure to please the band's diehard fanbase, while garnering a new legion of young maniacal supporters," according to a press release.
